Baltimore Police are investigating a case where three children were attacked by pit bulls.Police were called to the 2800 block of Edgecombe Circle around 10:50 p.m. where they found two aggres stanley taza sive and unconfined pit bulls.Officers tried to secure them but their efforts were unsuccessful.Police say the dogs charged at officers causing officers to discharge their weapons killing one and stanley cup incapacitating the other dog.Prior to the arrival of police, officers say two boys, ages 7 and 9, and one girl, age 6, were attacked by the dogs.Each suffered small cuts and lacerations and were treated by Baltimore City medics.Investigations revealed the children were playing when one dog jumped the fence and the other squeezed through the fence.Police located the dogs owner. New numbers from state police show more incidents have happened in the last year than in 2016.Police say they ve honed down on the type of crime, but haven t pinpointed a general target.
