They are a group of Kurdish Syrians who were barely surviving in the area of Kobani up on the border with Turkey. And all they asked for at that time was our close air support. We ve had some faltering efforts to try and develop some other partners that had come to nothing. And so we helped- we helped the YPG at that point in time. This was a transaction that was thoroughly reviewed and closely scrutinized, White House press secretary Scott McClellan said in confirming the deal.
