I need some advice because I'm really stressed out. For the past few weeks, Amcol Systems has been calling me constantly about a debt I don't even recognize. They call multiple times a day, leave scary voicemails, and one person even said they could take legal action if I didn't pay immediately. I asked them to send me proof of the debt, but all I get are more calls.
It feels like clear debt collection harassment , and I'm worried they're breaking the law with how aggressive they are. I found this guide online — End Amcol Systems Debt Collection Harassment — and it explains some of the steps I might be able to take, but I wanted to hear real stories.
Has anyone here dealt with Amcol Systems before? How did you stop the calls? Did sending a formal dispute or cease communication letter actually work? I'd love to hear any tips or experiences because dealing with this nonstop stress is really overwhelming.
