The partnership aims to bring eyewear that has the eye-catching design of Ray-Ban and Oakley combined with the technology of Glass.Design of the eyewear will be between Google and Luxottica, while the eyewear manufacturer will handle manufacturing and distribution. This will put Glass in more stores due to Luxottica's large market share (12.4%) and the fact that it also owns LensCrafters and Sunglass Hut.
