There was a lot of build up to this event stanley cup , and the rainy day didnt stop the turnout from being overwhelming. The Stand for Children Day is a big thing for our community, and its always good to see people bring awareness. My thoughts and thanks go out to all the volunteers and everyone who helped make this day possible, said Warren County Magistrate Tom Lawrence.Stand for Children is a day dedicated to the kids. Volunteer and outreach coordinator of Community Education Joshua Smith said its thrilling to bring attention and awareness to the children for the 22nd聽year. Theres a lot of excitement, a lot of gearing up, not much sleep last night because you are anticipating this great day, and seeing all the community come out, community partners and vendors setting up activities, Smith said.At this event, the kids will get to experience a variety of different activities that they may not have known before, including music, dance and martial arts. With another year of Stand for Children Day, Smith said he looks forward to hearing stories of newly discovered passions. That would be the icing on the cake.
