He is taking over for Cinny West, who served in the position for seven years.Prior to stepping into the new role, Lightning served as a teacher at Parker-Bennett-Curry for 10 years. While there, he was primarily a fifth-grade science and math teacher.He then served as assistant principal of Todd County Middle School for two years before returning to Bowling Green.Lightning said he very excited to start working with the students, and to make an impact on the school.
