CHICAGO -- Chicago police arrested a man on a murder warrant moments after he announced he s suing the city over for being shot by officers seven times in 2014.The Chicago Tribune reports police arrested 25-year-old Dominiq Greer after a news conference Wednesday at his attorney s office.Police said Greer was arrested on suspicion of killing 22-year-o jordan ld Kevin Larry on May 27 inside an apartment. Greer s attorney, Eugene Hollander, did not immediately return a call from The Associated Press regarding the arrest.Earlier, Greer said he is seeking $15 million over his July 4, 2014, shooting. At the news conference, Greer s attorneys released surveillance video from his 2014 run-in with police, CBS Chicago reported. On the video, Greer can be seen running away from police officers with a salomon gun in his hand just before dawn. He appears to throw the weapon away, but trips and falls. Police have said his weapon fired when it hit adidas originals the ground. That s when Officer Lawrence Cosban shot Greer three times.Greer, a Social Security Administration janitor, can be seen getting up and trying to run away, but that s when his attorney says Cosban shot him four more times.
