A local athlete is bringing home five medals from Germany from the Special Olympic Games.Lee Dockins of Russellville is one of the most decorated gymnasts in Special Olympics history, competing in over 150 competitions throughout her career.After winning the ball, hoop, clubs, ribbon and all-around, Dockins now has 25 medals in her trophy case.This also marked her first gold medal sweep at any of the World Games in her gymnastics career.Lee says she incredibly honored to compete and represent the United States in the Games.I love Germany 8230; it a really nice place. OSWEGO, NY 鈥?The Port City is making plans in case the county wont accept its lime-stabilized sludge at the Bristol Hill Landfill in the future.At Monday nights meeting of the Administrative Services Committee, Mayor Randy Bateman recommended that Mike Riley, purchasing agent, be authorized to seek proposals for the transportation and disposal of sludge generated from the citys two wastewater treatment plants as the county may deny disposal of lime-stabilized sludge at the Bristol Hill Landfill.The committee sent the proposal to the stanley cup full council for consideration.Recently, the elevated ammonia levels at the landfill prompted city and county officials to consider a stopgap deal to swap leachate for sludge and a one-time reduced rate for landfill debris for debris from the demolition of the house at West Bridge and Fifth streets .
