Filner rebuked the VA s mental health director, Dr. Ira Katz and Veterans Affairs Secretary James Peake for not only ineffectively responding to the growing rates of military suicides but for covering up any attempt to shed light on the problem. This is a matter of life and death, Filner said. When the cover-up falls apart, you admit a little bit of a problem and underplay it. The two officials vehemently denied a cover-up. They testified before the committee that there are constant discussions at the Department of Veterans Affairs on how to deal with suicide and other mental health issues. Furthermore, veterans are constantly being reached out to, the officials argued. One focus of the hearing was a series of internal Veteran Affairs emails disclosed during a trial two weeks ago in San Francisco on a lawsuit brought by two veterans groups seeking to have a court order the agency to improve its mental health care. The emails appear to show a concerted effort by the agency to hide attempted suicide data from the public and specifically from CB Kzdp A White Christmas in the Florida Keys

It was The Great Father s Day Race 5k Run/Walk Tampa.By 8 a.m. Sunday about 400 participants had registered for the annual event.The race was launched four years ago as a way to bring together families on Father s Day for a healthy lifestyle event.It aims to attract hardcore and casual runners alike to the park for an enjoyable run or walk through the scenic park in the shadows of Raymond James Stadium and George Steinbrenner Field.The Father s Day race also includes a Virtual 5k that allows athletes across the country to participate no adidas samba matter where they are. Runners are encouraged to run the Virtual 5k in their community, take photos and share them on social media to create memories air max 98 .But some runners don t play around.. A runner from the Netherlands clocked the 5k in 16 minutes.After the run/walk, participants can remain at the park for food and to socialize until about 10 a.m.
