The pedestrian struck Friday night while walking across Rossville Boulevard has been identified as Steve Barbee, police said.Chattanooga Police Department spokeswoman Lt. Kim Noorbergen said Mr. Barbee was hit by a 2001 Ford Explorer while crossing Rossville Boulevard from McDonald s about 9 p.m. Friday.The car s driver, Kristie Bledsoe, told police she was traveling on Rossville Boulevard and did not see Mr. Barbee, Lt. Noorbergen said. Mr. Barbee was transported to Erlanger hospital, where he is in critical condition in the ICU, she said.Police are continuing to investigate the incident, Lt.
