The Maryland Film Festival celebrates its 20th Anniversary this year, as films run at the Parkway Theater and the Maryland Instit stanley website ute College of Art campus from Wednesday to Sunday.The festival is a celebration of cinema each spring, focusing on the local film community while also promoting work and embracin vaso stanley g filmmakers from around the country and around the world.The event kicked off with an opening night gala that presented six diverse short films. Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz has announced that he will budget the funds for an entirely new building for Dulaney High School i stanley water bottle n the FY2019 budget. SYKESVILLE, Md. 鈥?The Maryland Attorney General s Office is i stanley isolierkanne nvestigating a deadly offficer-involved shooting in Carroll County.On Saturday, June 4 Maryland State Police were ca stanley cup lled to a home in Sykesville, in the 1200 block of Liberty Road, for reports of a suicidal man. Jack Cimino, Jr., 52, reportedly called the stanley quencher crisis hotline threatening to kill himself with a gun, while claiming to be under the influence of some type of substance.Troopers tried but failed to make contact with Cimino, prompting a barricade situation. The standoff lasted for more than eight-hours into Sunday morning.Around 7am Cimino came to the front door with a dark object in his hand.Body-worn camera footage apparently showed him pointing the object at troopers.Sergeant Jesse Hartsock shot Cimino, killing him.Troopers recovered a gun at the scene. The Attorney General s Office is investigating this incident. A decision on whether to charge Hartsock will be made by the Carroll County State s Attorney s Office once
