After a fair amount of hype and even more leaks, Samsungs Galaxy A9 finally got announced today in Malaysia. While its unclear if the Galaxy A9 will ever see an official release stateside, Samsungs world-first phone with four rear cams could be a preview of whats to come on the Galaxy S10 next year. Featuring a surprisingly high-res 24-MP camera in front, and four cams in back, the A9 has two more cameras than even Samsungs 1,000 Galaxy Note 9. And while some folks may say the A9 5-MP depth sensor doesnt fully count since it cant actually take photos on its own, that still leaves the phone with a 24-MP main camera, a 10-MP tele adidas samba damen photo cam with a 2x zoom, and an 8-MP ultra-wide cam with a 120-degree field of view. But more importantly for Samsung fans is that the Galaxy A9 hints at what Samsung is working on behind the scenes. Samsung has a history of releasing devices in the fall that often seem like regular consumer products, but are also partly demos for new tech or manufacturing processes. This happened when Samsung released the Galaxy Alpha in September 2014, which featured a new chamfered aluminum frame that was a big improvement in both strength and looks over the previous Galaxy S5. When we put the leading MagSafe ba asics sneaker ttery options to the test last year, one feature was oddly missing: None of them could actually be charged using a MagSafe charging pad鈥攐nly wires. Its a seemingly obvious feature thats only now being introduced by OtterBox with its new 5K Wireless Power Bank for MagSafe. In our MagSafe battery Face-Off, the only option that came remotely close to what OtterBoxs new battery can do was the $80 Zens Magnetic Dual Powerbank with stand that featured an additional Qi charging coil on the back. Basically, these would just be fancier versions of apps like Google Now or Siri. They will not, however, be cybergods, or even human-equivalent forms of intelligence. In an Q/A with Slashdot community members, Torvalds explained what he thinks will be the result of research into neural networks and AI: Well get AI, and it will almost certainly be through something very much like recurrent neural networks. And the thing is, since that kind of AI will need training, it wont be reliable in the traditional computer sense. Its not hoka schuhe the old rule-based prolog days, when people thought theyd *understand* what the actual decisions were in an AI.
