An arrest citation states the shelter employees knew immediately that the dog had been neglected, so they contacted police.According to the arrest citation, during their investigation, Johnson son and wife told Glasgow police that Johnson had poured acid on the black lab mix in an attempt to kill it.The citation states that Johnson told officers that it was the sun that caused the dog injuries.Due to the seriousness of the dog injuries, the animal had to be put down. FRANKFORT, Ky. mdash;Po adidas samba lice say they ha converse ve discovered the body of a Kentucky boy who died after being abducted along with his mother last week.Kentucky State Police Commissioner Rick Sanders say the 5-year-old s body was found Monday about a half-mile from where his mother was thrown from a cliff in eastern Kentucky.Police say the boy s mother, Jessica Durham, survived and is at a Lexington hospital. A suspect is in custody. Police say the suspect, Lonnie Belt, is charged with kidnapping and assaulting the boy s mother.
