An American college student who was reported missing last month while studying abroad in France is alive and in Spain, a French official and the student s family said Friday. Ken DeLand Jr. had last been heard from on Nov. 27, when he communicated with his family via WhatsApp.Eric Vaillant, the public prosecutor in Grenoble, France, confirmed to CBS News that they learned DeLand was able to speak with his parents today and he is apparently in Spain. A collection of photos and interviews with some of New York City s homeless citizens is shining a light on stories of redemption and hope. The Homeless Essential air force 1 s photo documentary project, which published online last month, was put together by a creative adidas samba team who wanted to humanize some of the more vulnerable members of society with their most cherished, remaining possessions.Simon Dolsten and Chris Bosler, the creators of Homeless Essentials, both work in advertising agencies in New York City.
